3-week pool classes!
The three-week Pool Progression class is a combination of the three classes listed below and is recommended for a comfortable, conservative learning pace before going to the river. MORE INFO

First Timers Class
This class is the introduction to the basics of whitewater kayaking. It includes wet exits, fundamental paddle strokes for boat control, and learning to swim gear to the shore. After this class students should be comfortable paddling any type of kayak and will be ready to learn the roll.
Cost: $40

Roll Class
This class covers the C to C roll in a step-by-step process to achieve success. Instructors stand in the pool with students to aid in rolling and to help students feel comfortable being upside down in the boat. Students will also learn the bow rescue, which will allow them to practice rolling later with a friend.
Cost: $40

Paddle Strokes and Brace Class
Learn to control your kayak and become an efficient kayaker. Sea, recreational, and white-water kayakers will benefit from the time spent in this class. Forward and back stroke, front and back sweep, sculling—are just some of the paddling strokes taught. Along with paddling strokes—learning to carve your kayak is an essential technique that is taught. Bracing is a technique that requires a lot of practice but when done correctly, can keep a kayakers hair dry for many river trips to come. The high and low braces are the best defenses against being flipped over. This class is great for beginning kayakers as well as intermediate kayakers who need to work on all aspects of paddling strokes.
Cost: $40
