This class was developed for students who have been paddling
for a while but are not confident in reading whitewater,
or are unsure about moving up in river difficulty.
Class will focus on paddle stroke efficiency and reading
whitewater features to determine routes through rapids.
This class can be tailored to fit student needs and can
vary from an emphasis on beginning play-boating or an
emphasis on river running with a group, scouting and rescue
technique.
*Note: It is important for students to challenge themselves
and paddle harder whitewater to improve paddling skills
and river techniques. Because of our safety standards
we require that students have roll and have taken at least
two class two river trips prior to this trip.
