Where to go:

Lost Lake:
Paddleboarding at Lost Lake may be the best view you'll have in the area. The backdrop of the lake is a booming Mt. Hood. Early mornings with glass calm water can provide a reflection of you on your paddleboard with mount hood reflecting off the water. Go Explore!

Mountain Lakes:   Most of these lakes are an hour drive and have excellent camping oportunites in the National Forests.
Oregon Lakes: Laurence Lake, Trillium Lake, Timothy Lake.
Washington Lakes: Goose Lake, Takhlakh Lake, Council Lake, in the early season check out Dissapearing Lake before it drains.

Paddleboarding at the Hook:
Paddleboarding evenings at the hook will get you the best sunset in Hood River. The winds can be strong and the paddling more challenging during the day but the evenings the wind generally calm around 7:00PM. During daytime there are many windsurfers around the hook so watch out!

Frog Beach:
Closest to our business is a nice sandy beach to set up picnic and chairs for a fun day of paddleboarding on the Hood River Waterfront. The Nichols Basin is the safest and most wind protected waterway in Hood River. You will find it bustling and full of paddlesports users through out the summer. This is a great place to watch the windsurfers and kiteboarders without getting in the way of danger.
